Choices

Life is about choices. Whether you make the right or the wrong decisions, you still have a choice. You can choose to react to certain things, or you can choose to let it slide. Indeed, an old teacher used to tell me 'you can choose your actions, but you cannot choose your consequences.' And she repeated herself just about every day. It was nagging at that time, but thinking back, she had a point, often, we cannot choose the consequences.

How you act has an certainly has an effect on the people around you. Sometimes, we don't even stop to think about it for a moment. Take for example, littering. Every time you decide to casually throw a piece of paper away, you are creating more work for the poor cleaner that is already overwhelmed. Yes, it might be convenient for you, but do spare a thought for others.

Every morning, I make it a point to greet the security guard on the way to school as i walk in the school gates. Being a security guard is not a very glamorous job, and its not pleasant to be treated as being transparent. Try this, do one nice thing a day and see how you can make a difference in the life of others. 

After all, its all about making this place we live in a nicer environment.

Welcome to the blogging world

Hey students,

Its time for me to join the blogging world. 

I've been resisting this, but i thought, 'what the heck, let's just create a blog and get on with it.' Seems that this is a creative way to hand out assignments... so, let's get on with it.

Hopefully, you'll be able to download resources and test paper answers (eventually) from here.
