I've just finished marking your Vocab Quiz 2 and believe me, it wasn't really that bad. There were much higher marks this time as compared to Quiz 1. So, that's really good.
In general, most people improved from the last time, and i'm quite pleased about that too...
However, there was also a group of people who did not do as well as they did in the first quiz. This, was somewhat disappointing.
For those that did well, I know that you really put in the effort. I was really proud of a few of you today when I saw that you had really done your research in finding the meanings of those words. Today, you were rewarded. Those of you that did the work, saw a dramatic improvement in your grades. I can tell who studied and who did not.
On the whole, I am quite satisfied with these results, but I think it could still be better.
My aim for the next quiz is that everyone will pass...
